After much back-and-forth, Teacher Amit arranged for us to have a meeting on the campus of his alma mater (Delhi University/Deshbandhu College) to finalize plans for a "Spiritual Workout for College Students" the following week -- to address everyday stressors of college life.  We first met with some of his "juniors" (ABOVE), people who are actively students right now.  I can't be 100% sure, but it seems like there is an ROTC-like presence on campus, which Amit was part of when he was as student, and with whom he'd been commiserating about our project.

The last step (NOT PICTURED) was to meet with the Captain or for a final blessing of sorts, which ultimately took place outdoors vs. his office, the initial plan.  Indeed he was quite welcoming of the entire project, thought it would be a good thing for his students, promised 100-150 in attendance, it was then canceled 24 hours before it was to be, apparently because the Captain was quite ill.  I found that to be a rather strange occurrence, but I'm a stranger in a strange land and, what do I know?  But I found out a few days later that Teacher Amit was FURIOUS about the whole thing (which actually made me feel better).  All I could deduce, why Amit was furious, was that it was an ego thing.  "If I, Captain, can't be there for this special event, then we won't have it."  Whatever!

I squeezed in one last networking event (FAR LEFT PICS) on the Saturday before I left.  Including women!  And on my last day, I met up with my original two Delhi entrepreneur friends (LEFT), but not before making an excellent connection with the youth below - at 7:30am in a cafe - who runs a travel company in India.  FUN!
